RenewAire’s Nick Agopian Presents at New York Passive House

New York Passive House invited Nick Agopian of RenewAire and Richard Gerbe of HIGHMARK to present on the topic of, “How ERVs Enhance IAQ and Save Energy.” During the presentation, they discussed:

• Why deficient IAQ is a serious problem since it harms indoor occupants’ health, cognitive function, productivity and wellbeing.
• How airtight buildings suffer from deficient IAQ due to an accumulation of indoor air contaminants.
• Why increased and balanced ventilation provided by ERVs is the best way to enhance IAQ while optimizing energy efficiency.
• How ERVs play a key role in achieving Passive House standards by reducing HVAC energy consumption.
