The RenewAire DN5 RT is a rooftop-mounted dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) designed to deliver continuous 100% outside air to large commercial and institutional facilities. Operating within an airflow range of 1,125–4,950 CFM, the unit utilizes a static-plate total energy recovery core to efficiently transfer heat and moisture between airstreams—significantly reducing HVAC loads while maximizing energy performance. It is ideal for demanding applications, including schools, municipal facilities like police stations, laboratories, and specialized healthcare settings such as hospitals, senior living centers, and animal care facilities.
Key Standard Features
Static-Plate Energy Recovery: Employs an AHRI 1060 Certified static-plate core (one L-62-G5 and four L-125-G5 cores) for total energy transfer.
High-Efficiency Fan & Motor Package: Features direct-drive backward inclined plenum fans with EC motors in both airstreams, providing higher external static pressure (ESP) of up to 3.0″ w.g. at 4,500 CFM.
Integrated Economizer & Isolation Dampers: Equipped with a true 100% enthalpy-based modulating face and bypass economizer and Class 1 low-leakage motorized isolation dampers.
Cabinet Construction: Built with 1″ 20-gauge galvanized double-wall construction with foam-injected R6.5 insulation and a stainless-steel double-sloped drain pan (included with cooling options).
BMS Integration & Controls: Standard integrated programmable controls with Modbus RTU or IP integration capabilities.
Filtration: Comes standard with ten MERV 8 filters (16″ x 20″ x 2″) and four MERV 8 bypass filters (16″ x 20″ x 2″).
