The RenewAire DN5RT is a rooftop-mounted dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS). It is designed to deliver 100% outside air in large commercial spaces such as schools, offices, laboratories, and healthcare facilities. With a typical airflow range of 1,125–4,950 CFM, it uses a static-plate total energy recovery core to efficiently transfer heat and moisture between airstreams, reducing HVAC loads and improving energy performance.
Standard features include EC motors for both airstreams, a direct-drive backward inclined plenum fan, MERV 8 filters (with MERV 13 and 14 accessories available), double-wall foam-injected insulation, and stainless-steel double-sloped drain pans. The unit incorporates a modulating 100% face and bypass economizer, integrated programmable controls, and BACnet compatibility. Heating and cooling options include DX, chilled water, hot gas reheat, electric heat, steam, hot water, and gas heat modules, with configurations for both blow-through and draw-through airflow setups.
